Inspiration
The Colombian author handles a profile of female and immigrant protagonists. Her personal story, as she emigrated to the United States twenty years ago, has inspired her plots. The people you know and who have been part of your life have a place in her paragraphs. Mature, mysterious, lonely, passionate women occupy the events that are narrated. Most stories take place in Miami, within intimate and closed spaces, that frame narratives that reflect closeness and reality.
